A launch with a date

08 · Service
A CGI product film is a launch or brand film rendered entirely in computer graphics. The product, the scene and the camera are all built in 3D, so there is no shoot day, no studio rental and no reshoot when the packaging changes. We plan each film shot by shot, render it, and deliver masters plus the cutdowns each channel needs.
Who it is for
The film is boarded, built and delivered in about 15 days, with the deliverable list agreed before anything renders.
Inside the product, a part coming apart into its pieces, a place the product cannot physically go. Environments are built from scratch.
A label or colour that changes late is a re-render, not a reshoot.
Built for the placement it will run in, in the ratio and length that placement needs.
What you get
Selected work
Every frame was built in 3D. None of these products were photographed.
How it runs
Product, brand assets, references and the deliverable list, agreed up front so the film is scoped before it is boarded.
The film planned shot by shot before anything renders: what the camera does, what the product does, and in what order.
Modelling, lighting and animation, revised against the approved look. The two included revisions happen here.
Masters, sound-ready, plus every cutdown in the brief.
This service is often paired with 3D Animation and 3D Modeling.
Questions
The answers below are the ones we give on a first call. The full list is here.
About 15 days from start to delivery. The board comes first, so the sequence is settled before rendering starts.
Not always. The model is built from artwork, dielines and specs, which is how a product can be shown before it has been manufactured. If the product exists, it comes with the brief, along with your brand assets and references.
It is a re-render. The label and materials live on the model, so a late change to artwork does not mean starting over, and never means a reshoot.
Yes. Scenes and environments are built from scratch, so the product can be placed anywhere the film needs it.
Masters that are ready for sound, plus every cutdown in the brief, sized for the placement.
