3D product rendering and modelling

3D product rendering starts with an accurate digital model of your product, built from artwork, dielines and specs. Once it exists, every render, animation, colourway and listing image comes from the same asset, and the model is yours to keep. We build the geometry to spec and develop the materials until the render reads as the real object.

Who it is for

When this is the right call.

A range with many SKUs

One model, then a colourway or finish swap per variant. No shoot for each one.

A product that does not exist yet

Built from CAD, artwork and specs, so it can be shown before it is manufactured.

Stills, film and listing images from one source

The same asset feeds the product page, the listing and the ad, so they agree with each other.

You want to own the asset

The model is handed over at the end. Whatever comes next can be built on it.

What you get

What's included.

  • Accurate geometry from artwork and specs
  • Materials that read as real under any light
  • Colourway and variant swaps without a reshoot
  • Files you keep

How it runs

Four steps.

01

Reference

Artwork, dielines, specs and physical samples where they exist. The more exact the reference, the more exact the model.

02

Model

Geometry built to spec, not eyeballed: proportions, edges and details as the product is made, not as it looks in a photo.

03

Materials

Look development until the material reads as the real object under any light: glass, metal, leather, liquid, fabric.

04

Handover

The model is yours, ready for whatever comes next: renders, animation, colourways.

What we need from you.

  • Artwork and dielines.
  • Specs and dimensions.
  • Physical samples where they exist.
  • Brand assets, so materials and colours match the real product.

What you receive.

  • The model, handed over.
  • Materials developed so it reads as real.
  • Renders, animation and variants built after that come from the same asset.

This service is often paired with 3D Animation and CGI Animation.

Questions

Asked before every brief.

The answers below are the ones we give on a first call. The full list is here.

Who owns the 3D model?

You do. The modelling service ends with a handover: the model is yours, ready for whatever comes next.

What do you build the model from?

Artwork, dielines, specs and physical samples where they exist. Geometry is built to spec, not eyeballed from a photo.

Can one model produce every variant?

Yes. A colourway, finish or size is a swap on the same model, so a range with many SKUs does not need a shoot per SKU.

What is look development?

The work on materials and lighting until the render reads as the real object: the way glass, metal, leather or liquid behaves under light.

Can the model be used for animation and listing images later?

Yes. That is the point of building it once. Every animation and listing image after that comes from the same asset.
